Church School
At St. Benedict's Church of England Voluntary Aided School, we are dedicated to offering our pupils a learning experience that embraces"Life in all its fullness," (John 10:10). To us, this encompasses every element of school life and extends into the wider community; from our broad and balanced wider curriculum to our after- school and lunchtime activities; and from the local trips and visitors to our residential visits. The emphasis at St. Benedict's is on developing the whole child and, as such, we value positive mental health and wellbeing above all things. We believe that the best learners are happy learners.
We are very proud of our strong church links and we have a thriving relationship with St. Benedict's Church. Every Tuesday we visit church for Collective Worship, which is inclusive and involves and enthuses the pupils. Glastonbury is a very diverse town with 78 recorded faiths; therefore, we seek to be a school with a strong Christian ethos that welcomes pupils of all faiths and none.
