OUR ROLE
The PTFA is a fun and sociable committee of teachers, parents and friends and is an excellent way to bring together parents, teachers and our local community to raise money to support the school. We aim to raise funds to buy things that would benefit the children that the school could not otherwise afford.
In its time the PTFA has raised thousands of pounds, which have been spent on a stage with lighting for the school hall, both playground murals, and we help fund year group trips and residential. From this year the decision was made by the school and PTFA members to raise funds for a new minibus.
We hold regular events such as BenFest, Christmas Fair, Frost Fair, ice cream sales, pancake and waffle sales, hot chocolate sales, hot dogs, discos, film nights, quiz nights and many more.
Any donations can also be made without link to events.
How can you be involved? There are many ways to help with the PTFA whether you have lots of time to offer or not. Some of the roles are time-consuming but also rewarding. Any bit of help would be greatly appreciated. The success of the PTFA depends entirely on the support of the parents, staff and the community. Everyone is always welcome on the PTFA, and we are always looking for new ideas.
